SPEAKING POINTS:
The Board of Supervisors, at their February 10, 2026 meeting voted 4-1 to continue to support Offshore Wind on their 2026 State and Federal Legislative Platform. Supervisor Pechong voted no.
The Board of Supervisors added this item to the agenda after initial publishing which makes it more difficult for the public to keep track of what the BOX is doing.
Speaking points could include the fact the County has never conduced any outreach to actually determine whether their constituents are in favor of offshore wind as other counties have.

Speak about the lack of followthrough and timeliness of the County-led Mott McDonald Port Feasibility Stuides for Port San Luis and Morro Bay.
