CALL TO ACTION:

Several members of REACT will be speaking to the issue of cable landings on the area north of Morro Bay called “Dog Beach” as well as present a brief slide show. This is a great topic to speak to with your concerns with high voltage cables coming through a popular beach, potential beach closures and impacts to wildlife.

Speak generally about your concerns with Offshore Wind.

OR

Ask about the status of the grant funded port feasibility study done by Mott McDonald.

OR

Speak to the Environmental Disaster on the East Coast and how it is easily replicated on the West Coast with the proposed OSW project.

OR

Speak about your concerns with a neighboring port (Port San Luis) deciding to move forward with Offshore Wind which now inculdes a potential $3M grant and is the 3rd study being funded for this potential industrialization of Port San Luis and Avila Beach.

Inform the Board that even with the Executive Order regarding offshore wind, REACT Alliance is proceeding “business as usual”.
