Tricia Boaz

A Cal Poly SLO alum, Tricia Boaz was the Executive Director of the San Dieguito River Valley Conservancy for nine years until her retirement on December 31, 2021. Before that, Tricia worked for the County of San Diego for 18 years in various capacities including Land Use and Environment Policy Advisor to the Board of Supervisors, Environmental Resource Manager for Planning Development Services and Chief of Resource Management for the Department of Parks and Recreation.

During her tenures, she oversaw numerous successful trail upgrades and land acquisitions for open space preserves and active parks. Following her retirement, she and her husband, Scott, moved back to San Luis Obispo. They reside in a home that has been in Tricia’s family for three generations.
